Yes it's "just a concrete structure" but it's all about the memories that the places evoke - and the "she" is just a mere nod to the "Grand Old Lady" nickname really, I wouldn't say it about my house or school etc.

We nearly got locked in the ground last night we stayed that long - trying to not waste a minute as she will be gone before we know it, and nights like last night really bring that home.
of being the first team to know they have played their final league game at Goodison Park. Just letting that sink in. Only 21 top flight games left. It's getting closer and closer to saying goodbye.
