Hertha had
53,5 Mio€ in 2020,
77,9 Mio€ 2021,
79,75 Mio€ 2022
99,1 Mio€ 2023 losses, in 2024 it looks like they will make a small profit)
In 2019 they had an investor called Tennor who gave them a staggering 374 Mio€ till 2023 but all the money was wasted in expensive players on high salaries. They caled themselves a Big City Club for some time.

Hertha and Everton are clubs with tradtion and a huge fanbase. The difference is that Hertha is renting the olympic stadium in contrast to Everton who owns Goodison Park and is bulding a new one.
777 investment began in March 2023 and 2 months later Hertha were relegated but that didn´t seem to bother 777. Hertha had had a unsual CEO Kay Bernstein who was a former member of Hertha BSC Ultras, who detested investors and unethic sponsors although that didnt stop him doing business with a private equity company as 777 and a betting sponsor. 777 then saved Hertha from administration. Sadly Bernstein died in January 2024.
In Germany you don´t read almost anything about 777 and Hertha doesn´t seem to be unhappy with them. They pay on time or even one and half months in advance a payment of 22 Mio€. They don´t seem to have problems to finance them.
Why does this take 7 months at Everton now? I guess at Everton there are a lot of lenders an third parties that have to be satisfied whereas at Hertha they didn´t have much choice because they needed the money rapidly. Of course sums are different at Hertha (100Mio€) and at Everton a couple of hundred Mio.GBP
In the end is 777 a bad investor? From my point of they are not worse than other Saudi, Quatari or other kind of investors. Sorry for my english.
