6 games to go
Forest home
Liverpool home
Brentford home
Luton away
Sheff U home
Arsenal away
take away arsenal and liverpool - anything from either is a bonus
A change could get us some bounce, but I thnk you'd need a change that also had someone who knows what they are doing, not just relying on passion.
Forest, and Luton will be tough, they are also fighting for their lives, and Luton have beaten us twice this season.
Sheff U, likely down might play with freedom, but frankly if we cant win that we deserve to be down.
Brentford, will probably be up for it, so again, tricky.
I'm not sure passion can get us through any of these.
We need to be set up right, aware of the faults of the other teams etc.
We have to go out and win, not just scrape a draw.
I'm not a fan of how we set up under Dyche, I think its too negative and invites too much pressure on the defence which will eventually crack, like last night. Last night wasnt just about one game, but about a season of having 40% possession at best, at some stage, you are just exhausted and wiped out.
I dont think changing to Baines or Coleman is a solution.
Maybe Dyche has lost the dressing room, maybe there are splits, but other than his stupidity in portugal, nothings been rumoured, and in a fractured dressing you usually get lots of leaks.
As I said below I'd go with this for Forest assuming all are fit
Pickford
Garner Tarkowski Branthwaite Mykolenko
Harrison Gueye Gomes McNeil
Danjuma
DCL
with Harrison, Danjuma, McNeil, instructed to shoot at will
Harrison and McNeil told to tuck in a fair bit to congest midfield, and Garner and Myko to overlap
Aim to give everything in the first half, no aiming for 0-0 with 70mins gone to sneek a set piece win - the crowd will be too nervous.
Go full blooded from the start.
And if we score, have a player instructed to go down injured to take some sting out of things.
Douc, Onana, Beto, can be thrown on with 10mins to go if we are fucked
but lets at least get on the front foot and give it a whirl
(I know Danjuma hasnt been great, but Douc has been awful since coming back)
I didn't get up this morning (alarm didn't go off thank fuck). But re post below about suicide if we got rid of Dyche - are we in the situation where getting Coleman for example for a 5 game rev up where we just have some fight isn't preferable to this?
I don't know what's going on but this squad are patently not up for the manager. I'm tempted to fuck it and give up.
