…..a big effort on Sunday.
I’m not sure us fans will ever fully appreciate the difficulty of the current situation the club are in and to what extent it’s impacted the team but yet again we have to come together and fight to get us over the line.
6-0 is unacceptable against any side so questions quite rightly need to be asked. But the facts are we have overall been a tough side to play against this season and defensively sound so in that respect it is a blip. The lack of goals has been the big issue.
Questions will rightly be asked of Dyche but I don’t see a change, if indeed one happens, until the summer. Granted his options are limited but some of his team selections are questionable and although both have had excellent careers, having a right side of two players with a combined age well into the 70’s is not likely to work. It didn’t against Burnley at home so was never likely to work tonight. I don’t see lack of effort, it’s individual mistakes and unsurprisingly a lack of belief.
The Derby will be an incredibly tough game and even on a good run I’d rate our changes of win as less than 10% so it’s imperative we get a win Sunday to most importantly drag us away from danger but also go into the Derby with our tails back up.
Truly grim times but we’ve got to keep going and hopefully find some light at the end of this longest and darkest of tunnels.
So you say there's a race of men in the trees
You're for tough legislation
Thanks for calling
I wait all night for calls like these
