The Guardian has been being fed damaging information for some time. Who has contacts at The Guardian. It's not the usual channel for the EPL.

The EPL could have chosen to be far more understanding of that & I doubt anyone would have kicked up a fuss. Instead they seem intent on driving us out of business. I think this is for their own political benefit not ours.
Any business would have issues if their industry regulator decided to attack them instead of working with them
That we previously paid all this interest and merrilystated to all and sundry that it hadn’t got anything to do with the stadium, but now that it turns out we desperately need to reduce our losses to avoid further points deductions, all of a sudden of course it’s related to the stadium, what do you mean you don’t believe us?
I suppose when large organisations end up going under this is how it happens isn’t it, a series of poor decisions and changing circumstances and an increasingly conplex financial tangle as the organisation tries to keep control of the situation that eventually proves unsustainable.
