makes that so difficult. Sterile football, going out not to lose rather than to win, no plan b etc etc…Dyche is just not a manager for longevity at a club like Everton. All the xG nonsense is meaningless when you can’t win games. Quality chances over quantity surely more important anyway. And for a manager who “won’t make excuses” “it’s up to us to change the narrative” etc, there is a lot more questioning of referees and decisions now.

I know the sacking and then appointment of another manager isn't straightforward with this rudderless ship but I cant imagine him getting away with a failure to pick up 3 points at home to Burnley. The mood will be mutinous amongst the fans.
I really hope he gets that win, because the shite he's had to sift through here at this club has been monumental.
