Meantime though, during this slump, Dyche has not tried alternative formations nor alternative tactics. Nor has he made changes to personnel that is obvious for many to see - such has why hasn’t he tried starting Dobbin over Harrison, why not give McNeil a rest, why persist with Doucoure as he has not returned well from injury. Why not five at the back?
We have little room to make mass changes but he’s done absolutely nothing. The football is dire and predictable. Allardyce’s football was dire when he was here but it was effective. Not that I would advocate his return.
He’s lucky to still be in the job but that’s where we are right now - irrespective of the Club’s obvious failings.
