Whatever chances we had in 1992, 2000, 2007, of ever becoming competitive again, short of being bought by MBS himself on a whim, have long gone. All we can hope for is a crash of the football bubble and a reboot of the PL with a low salary cap ; even then we'd need to win the lottery with our academy production line and manager selection.
I still love the club but I don't recognise its purpose anymore.
Can you see us winning anything in your lifetime?
I can’t
a huge risk with 777 as far as I can see, they are classic vultures.
Nobody wants administration, but the damage that could be done by 777 needs to be seriously considered and I don't think Moshiri gives two fcuks as long as he can recoup an extra penny on the pound.
It is interesting how the mainstream media have avoided chasing Moshiri down and asking him serious questions about his plans and his absentee landlord style leadership of the club. The man is getting away far too easily for someone who is prone to talking out of turn during live interviews.
