It all seems very doable now - but only if we get our forwards + Doucoure scoring again.
No more shit home defeats to poor sides.
This will hand us momentum and possibly destabilise others who possibly thought we were left behind by them. Bournemouth and Palace must be seriously pissed off.
We've gone from being competitive with 4 teams facing the drop to 3 or 4 teams capable of getting to mid-table safety. At least for now.

...in the face of scrutiny at the flawed process and arbitrary punishment.
So in that sense, today's verdict is a bit disappointing.
On the other hand, I wouldn't have been surprised had they upheld the original 10 point punishment either, as in recent years it seems everything just goes wrong for us!
So I guess getting 4 back isn't so bad, all things considered. The table looks a bit better.
But it still all feels tedious and endless. Oh for a season of mid-table mediocrity without any of this shit, so we can go back to concentrating on ousting whichever hapless manager we've had for a year and who hasn't managed to miraculously transform us with both hands tied behind his back.
