To be fair, I do think they've been close to stealing a march on us and I'd be a lot more comfortable with 5/6 points handed back to us as a bit of insurance against them.
On the one hand, getting a transfer ban instead of points deducted would be a massive win, and mean we'd at least be safe this season.

Think it would have to mean extensions for Seamus, Gomes & Young, whether that's a good idea or not.
We could (as I understand) sign Harrison as he's already here, and, given the numbers, you think they'd *have* to sign him.
My fearis that it would mean Branthwaite or Onana being sold for FFP, and not being allowed to spend any of the proceeds.

But wouldn't a transfer ban be a terrible result?
