That's true - they could (and they did in the original hearing - as well as suggesting a transfer ban - so I suspect that will have formed part of the Appeal) however it's worth remembering that the original judgement specifically said that they felt a financial penalty was not appropriate (for various reasons as stated below) so it would be quite a U-turn for the appeal commission to reverse that.
...but the appeal panel could easily conclude this is not a sporting offence and decide on a financial penalty.
That's probably the only way that the full 10 points are handed back. Unlikely, but I wouldn't rule anything out.
Well, the reality is that we might - I think most would probably say that's unlikely though.
I don't think it's worth over analysing what Dyche said to be honest - he's just trying to answer the journo questions as best he can and just focussing on getting as many points on the board as possible. Points deductions shouldn't (and I'm sure don't) change that aim.
Is he suggesting we might get all 10 points back? Sounds like that.
