Don't think so but the policy is leave on 31st October, deal or no deal
and Leavers would turn out to back that in their droves. As would those strongly opposed to it, though that group would be spread across a larger number of parties.
Who knows how it would pan out?
Don't think there will be a GE before Oct, suppose anything's possible in this crazy world we inhabit at the moment!
I know there is a sizeable chunk of people who would go for it, but actually a majority?
I could be wrong but I don't see it - they flak they would cop would be off the scale. But perhaps just the threat will be enough to force Johnson (assuming he still gets the gig) into taking the lead and calling an election himself.
The problem of course is that an electoral pact with Fromage and his mob if Brexit is still on the agenda is very likely indeed. Just when you thought this whole sorry mess couldn't get any worse.
...soon and Grieve, Clark (and others?) vote against the government...
when it all turns to shit, Corbyn has to make the country, including millions of Leave voters an offer.
Frustrating as it may be, I think his stance is correct. In any case, he has said any deal has to be put to a public vote. But whatever he says or does will never be good enough for his detractors.
Just my two penn'orth.
