Usually better suited to dotwork, takes a little longer to do but heals up much more quickly as it punctures the skin less often than the machines so does less damage.
Obviously, uk hygeine laws mean she'd not using a traditional bone needle/comb, but it's about as close as you're likely to get within the law.
And if you're not familiar with the terminology, a 'sleeve' is the name given to a full arm tattoo.
