I teach on an access course and while the rules can be different in England than here (NI) you need to be out of full time education for 2 years to apply to do it.
Itís not the institution where you study Access that cover it but your UCAS application is dated and universities usually spot it when making offers.
In theory though, Access should work just as well.
I'm still going to apply but with just two C's at A Level I'm unlikely to get a place directly onto the LLB course. I'm hoping that applying as a mature student and being covered by the Equality Act might give me a chance.
What I am thinking about doing now is an access course and applying again next year straight on to the LLB. Has anyone here done an access course and then gone onto university?
