Just tried it
I can see all the songs but if I click on one, nothing happens
in windows and then tried them directly?
Have you opened your music app and then added that folder to the music library?
What used to happen with the last few phones an I had is that the music automatically uploaded to Windows Media Player, Winamp, Media Go or whatever software I was using at the time. Doesn't do so with this phone, regardless of the software I have installed.
you expect to be able to browse to the folder on the SD card in your phone via Windows Explorer and then double click on the files and play them on your PC?
Just trying to get to the actual issue.
Got myself a new phone. Installed the SD card which has loads of music on it (CD's I have ripped over the years). Music plays fine on the phone. I can still rip new stuff on Windows Media Player and put it on the phone. What I can't any longer do is play the music I have got on my phone (SD card) through the PC. Only stuff which appears is the new stuff I have ripped today. I have tried using Winamp, Media Monkey and a few others but it won't have it. Used to use Sony's Media Go (it's an Xperia phone) but it no longer exists. Their new thing Sony Music Centre for PC's doesn't recognise the phone. Which is just ridiculous.
Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks in advance.
