Silva's gone on record saying we'll play 4-3-3...
From what I gather, Mina isn't particularly quick (eg FIFA 18's ratings have him slower than Keane even), so his reading of the game will have to be much better than Keane's to earn him a starting spot.
World Cup apart, he's not played an awful lot of football, and I'd be wary of playing him away against United or Chelsea (our next two aways), so maybe we bring him off the bench if circumstances allow, and pencil him in for a start against Cardiff, IF he's performing well enough in training, and is clearly the better player.
...reacting quite slowly to danger. Don't get me wrong, he's definitely improved and improving, and I'm not writing him off yet at all but - given that our fixtures so far have allegedly been the "easier" ones - I think our defence is going to be tested even more, so we really need to tighten things up defensively and Mina has to fit in somewhere, so for me it's Keane's place that has to go.
It's definitely a bit of a dilemma as we want Keane to continue to improve but if there's a chance of signing Zouma permanently then I'd want to be playing him regularly as well... 3 centre backs with 2 wing backs maybe? :/
Nice problems to have I suppose!
