I sympathise but it's quite simple, don't listen to the radio stations, don't read the papers.
I know its hard to ignore because so many people are absorbed by the media but it's ridiculous how many peoples opinions are basically taken from what they spout - people I know almost quote them word for word. Plagurism at it's very worst.
It's just that if they dont there will be at least the silver lining of not having to put up with another 3/4 days of Talkshite, 5Live and the papers warbling on about ending decades of hurt and championing low-yield, pampered prima donnas like Sterling.
I've never been that bothered about England anyway, but the low key approach and lack of egos won me over this time. However, the ramping up of this since the QF win over Sweden makes me partly want to see England derailed just to spite the media.
You just know the red tops will have Deschamps in a Napoleon outfit if they get through to meet them...and hundreds of references to garlic.
