managerial choices than his competitors. The competition at the top, financially, has never been so fierce. Chelsea have been backed to death by an Oligarch, Man Utd are the richest team in the world and think nothing of lashing £300k a week at fading stars. Liverpool lash £75 million on defenders. Even we're chucking around £200 million just to go backwards.

: plus in two of those cases their income was
: kind of organic, London premium and local
: boy made good.
: Imagine if Jack Walker was immortal and had
: access to multiple billions of disposable
: trade surplus every year. I suspect everyone
: would be thoroughly sick of competing with
: Blackburn Rovers by now.
