I may well investigate your evening eating theory.
I'm by no means fat, but at 45 I find that eating patterns of yesteryear now result in mild love-handle growth, so I'm looking for ways to address this, as my own activity levels are not really the problem (I walk 10km per day, run a couple of times per week and play football once a week for an hour or so).
My diet's also pretty decent (gluten-free pescatarian, but probably a little carb-heavy at times. Very little drinking either.)
