So you've a team(squad) of people at work & you replace 1/3rd of them with what you perceive...

...to be better people who will improve overall company performance over time. It's highly unlikely the new team will hit the ground running from day 1, or even month 1.
We've a lot of new players, we didn't replace our best and most prized asset, another talented team member is effectively on gardening leave and we've faced 3 of the best teams in the league in the last 3 games (and performed pretty poorly in all 3)
Time for a bit of patience - not a trait in most football fans, I know. If Koeman was that miffed with the board for not getting a striker in, he'd surely have walked rather than sulk for a few months.
Looking at things with glass half full, at least we've plenty of playing options for Koeman in the short term. Up to him and the coaching staff to get the best out of the current resources at their disposal.
- It's not a bad analogy, but with the money in the EPL now, the thinking is out dated.. - blue puttee September 12, 2017, 12:54 pm
- That would all be fine if he replaced the people that needed replacing. - Drico. September 12, 2017, 12:30 pm
