It was always this way though

The bigger they come the more authorities bend over.

Spurs : thrown into the football slammer...then they start rumbling about court action and thred carpet rolls out, the points deduction is removed and they are ushered back into the cup

Swindon : thrown to the wolves with no chance of appeal

or

AFC Wimbeldon : Field inelligible player...punished accordingly

West Ham : Field inelligible player...authorities umm & ahh and bumble & stumble and ultimately run out of time so have to let them off with a fine.
