I don't think Arteta has ever played the holding role in a four man midfield though. I'm pretty sure it's always been as the deep lying one of five.
It's a largely academic discussion though, I can't see Moyes ever playing that team. He's a pragmatist, and while that team would be really exciting to see, it's just not his kind of line up.
