...if all the player's friends go to the Spanish surgeon, and these are players who play for the top Spanish clubs, it's understandable that he'd trust their judgement. The club will recommend who they think he should see, but it's Arteta's choice who operates on him.
Put it this way, if your doctor recommended you a couple of physios who you'd never heard of, in places flung across the UK or your friends all said they'd been to this really great guy who'd fixed them up brilliantly and he's just a few minutes around the corner, which would you choose? And which advice might actually be the best?
Anyway, who really knows? It's all just rumours and speculation (although the - pre-posted - constant extensions do lend a bit of credence to the stories). I don't even care if he's out for the whole season, if it means getting him back to 100% for the future (and hopefully next season). Watching him in full flow is too much of a pleasure to risk on hoping he'll be back in time to spearhead our push for 10th
