I'm surprised you think so. The first 30 minutes are great - the sequence with the magazine covers is magnificient, and his escape is also great, even if the bad guys are straight out of the manual of orientalist fantasy.

But then it slumps terribly. Unscrupulous capitalist fights newly-scrupulous capitalist, with the winner getting the adoration of the little people. Maybe I can live with that. But the tedium of the conflict - big suit vs little suit bish bosh, trembling woman pressed a button - left me really cold.

RD Jr is fantastic, of course. But Iron Man is no Wonder Boys.
