problem is how much we have to spend, how much we could batter them down to and whether we could pay the fee over the length of his contract or if Valencia would want the whole fee up front.
Given we're not about to throw money around this summer, plus the Euro Championships may well see the usual trend of prices inflating, means we may be limited to a year long loan - which, given we probably wont have the budget or other realistic midfield options to pursue may not be the worst thing in the world
