Baines, Lescott, Yobo, Jagielka, Neville & Hibbert

6 players to cover 4 spots for a whole season? Valente is free, settled in the area & team and has experience in PL, UEFA & CL. And also doesn't kick up a fuss if not involved every week. Seems a sensible decision.

Valente is not bad cover, and will allow us to spend money on more important areas.
