Vintage Fire Truck Pedal Car (late 30s?)

I recently ran across a picture of my mother in a fire truck pedal car she had when she was a child. I'm trying to find out anything about it - manufacturer, etc. I have two pictures that I have scanned, one is a great side view and the other is a not so great front view. Any information to help my search will be appreciated.
