I recently took a journey and found myself needing the toilet at Peterborough train station - the ladies toilets had 2 narrow doors and a narrow corridor to negotiate with a suitcase; the cubicles had inward opening doors, again really difficult to manoeuvre a suitcase; the peg on the back of the door was broken so my handbag had to go either on the floor (not that there was much space) or perched on top of the suitcase which was wedged in between my knees and the door somehow. The cubicle walls had a big gap at the bottom; the toilet was dirty and had no toilet paper; the tap didn't work.... All in all a pretty grim toilet experience. If you should find yourself in the vicinity you might be better to tackle the better equipped and anonymous toilets in the big shopping centre 5 minutes walk away.
