I was also on the recent London follow up workshop. Previous to that I had attended the beginners workshop in Manchester early this year. It does take a lot of guts to get to the beginners workshop guys! But it is so worth it. Attending the follow up was significantly easier. Like James, I have made a huge amount of progress through 2017 as a result of these two workshops. My shy bladder continues to play a part in my life - but a LOT smaller part than nine months ago! The volunteers running these courses do an AMAZING job! There were delegates there that were on their first follow-up and others were on their 2nd or 3rd. All the delegates help to put each other at ease and there is great team spirit. On my way back home down the M4 I deliberately drank lots (it was only water) and stopped at two different service stations to pee - both times I walked in to a busy toilet, straight to a urinal and peed. That would have been unthinkable for the past 20+ years!!!! I can't recommend UKPT highly enough.
