Hello - esp to my fellow "graduates" from the Beginners Workshop in Manchester (Jan. 2010).
Like everybody else, I felt great relief when I first found this website & after a year finally signed up for a Workshop. I am fortunate that my paruresis isn't as severe as some people, but it has been there for 45 years and it has "got me down" big time over that period. Thanks to Steve and Andrew for all their support. I met a great bunch of guys - all with varying degrees of AP but all determined to deal with the problem and I'm so glad I went. I was able to put some of the learnt techniques into operation on my long journey home - with considerable success. A few "misfires" - but I was expecting that & I felt calm & relaxed about it. I am determined to work on that. I hope all participants got home safely - esp those from Ireland, Norway & Malta!!
