Posted by Frank thank you for replying and giving more details. After my initial reply I wanted to also inform you of the additional information that is mentioned on (and linked to) on the web site of the (U.K.) National Phobics Society. That information is in the form of PowerPoint presentations, a kind of slide show on your PC. However, I then realised that there always is a possibility that the receiver of the message might be working on a PC on which the necessary PowerPoint software is not installed. There is PowerPoint Viewer software that can be downloaded from MicroSoft free of charge. Since you had given your E-mail address in your first post (it is hidden, but can be found hyperlinked under the blue color of the underlined name of the poster who enters an e-mail address), I found it more appropriate to give you all the details via E-mail, if at all necessary. For that purpose, I entered my E-mail address hidden under my name in my second post. After all, this Discussion Board is about the software in our heads (admittedly, our most personal data processor), not about the software in our PCs. So, you will find more details on PowerPoint viewing software in the e-mail that I have just sent you. Best wishes, Frank

Hi Yugui Xu,
It helps us to understand the severity of the problem.
But, to be fair, there is also a completely free alternative for the MS Office package; it is called OpenOffice. Inside OpenOffice the application OpenOffice Impress is used for reading, editing, and creating PowerPoint-like presentations.
