There's someone on your board who asks, and then answers his/her own questions,and also the questions of other (honest) people who HAVE actually worked for/flown with,or simply just have a serious interest in your once proud and still legendary airline.I won't name names, but it certainly doesn't take rocket science to sniff this troll out: take a look at that long number at the top of each message.This number says it all.
The other big mistake this troll makes time and time again, is a clear spelling ordeal:I'll type:"That 747 has been scrapped".The troll says "That 747 has being scrapped".This indiscrepancy can be seen in almost every one of his/her messages, under different names.Dead giveaway.
As for me,...yup...I've been on this board too.Asking the odd question about the magnificent 747s PAA once flew.Was I a pilot?Nope.Was I once a passenger?Nope.Did I ever have anything to do with Pan Am in general?Nope.What then??...well...I've said it before..I find this great old airline interesting.I've done research,I've seen photo's,bought memorabilia and I'm purely in it for the jet-age,mainly the 747.I can only dream of ever having flown with Pan American...But, guess what.At least I don't BS about it.I don't lie my way around this faceless computer-screen...faceless,but with a long personal, dead-giveaway number.I haven't been on this board for a while.I figured this all out a long time ago,so nowadays I just don't bother....stumbled accross it again today,while researching some PAA-stuff,and noticed the troll is still active.
But now I finally decided to post this message, and make it my final one, because maybe we should dedicate the rest of this space to the real Pan Americans....thanks,and seasons greetings!
