Andreas---I recall that our dispatcher at JFK back in the 60's was a German genteleman by the name of Hardy---He was a collector of old locks and keys---He must have been associated with the Luftwaffa as he used to say," Ve had good days und ve had bad".----A stewardess I met in the 70's was named Ursela Plepp---She had been on an airplane that crashed short of the runway---I'm not sure where but could have been Singapore---The airplane slid a ways and crashed through a stone wall---They told her to recouperate and take a couple weeks off---(I'd have needed a couple years)---We had several German Stewardesses and a standing joke was that they gave the passengers an interductery speech," You vill fasten your seat belts--I vant to hear von click". They were some of the hardest working gals ever---Good looking--smart--and with at least three languages---Hope you have great success with your stories---KB
