Dear Sir or Madam
My name is Eberhard Schedl, and I'm responsible for Horizonte Filmes, a film producing company in Portugal. We are currently producing a documentary film about the Airport of Santa Maria Island, (built by the US in WWII), in Azores, Portugal.
We are contacting you because we want, if possible, to make an interview with someone at Pan Am that has some knowledge about this issue, or about the history of aviation from the 1940's on, and the Santa Maria airport's importance to intercontinental aviation.
We would like to ask if you have any film and/or images and/or sound records in your archives concerning the construction and life of the Airport of Santa Maria Island, or about the presence of Pan Am in the Azores in general.
