Hi All
Firstly I am a first time visitor to the site, I think it is great.
Unfortunatly I only found it due to the recent actions of the scottish government in releasing this 'person'.
I actually live in Glasgow Scotland and agree 110% with how disgusting this whole affair is (as I have to say are the majority of people who live here). This 'person' should have been left to rot in the cushy jail he had been transferred to. The most sickening part of his release and return to Libya is the 'heroes' welcome he received despite assurances from Gadaffi etc that his return would be 'low key'. to see the people crowding round the aircraft waving saltire's made me physically sick.
I know there are various stories about conspiracies and that he has always claimed his innocence however I have to say if it was me I would have fought until my death to clear my name, but by dropping his appeal he has essentially admitted guilt and now his (and his families names) will never be cleared.
I suppose all we can hope is that his remaining time is short and extremly painful.
Anyway rant over, my apologies for going on so long.

p.s. calling the Scottish people Poms (the English) is like calling Aussies Kiwi's, or Americans Canadians (and vice versa). lol lol
