: Hello every one and my good friends I worked
: with at PAN AM. I have received some very
: interesting comments and info on the day our
: PAN AM collasped back in 1991 from PAA
: passengers who were either in flight without
: knowing PAN AM ceased operations around the
: globe or were booked to fly on PAA flights
: that day. There were incidents where baggage
: was not claimed or property couldn't be
: returned to PAX Yet today passengers are
: still looking for there belongings or trying
: to refund there tickets. "WOW"
: Such along time ago years gone by since the
: demise of our airline I thought people would
: have solved there disputes by now?? How ever
: I have being in contact with the
: adminstrators who had taken over the
: recovery of PAN AM who have stated any
: person or persons who can provide proof or
: documentation that they paid or booked a PAA
: flight on that day which is paper tickets
: can contact them how ever there is no
: garrentte of a refund for tickets. Its only
: good as a memorey. Secondly as for personal
: belogings unclaimed I am sure most of this
: was recovered and back tracked to the
: passenger and returned. How ever if its
: still missing even though you have your
: tickets you have little chance of ever
: seeing these again as the adminstrators
: aren't responsable for loss of personal
: effects. There was how ever some unclaimed
: items which couldn't be collected or who
: they belong to as passengers as in a lot of
: cases today don't put ID tags on baggage so
: how is the airline suppose to know who it
: really belongs to..At JFK some baggage was
: stored for a year but nobody came forward to
: collect it so it was auctioned off. But with
: out a smile on our faces I don't think the
: auction amount wouldn't have paid off the
: 747 fleet finances or parking spaces at
: MARINA Pinal air park or Roswell or Majove??
: I suggest to those trying to attempt a claim
: you contact the Liquidators of PAN AM Good
: Luck & God Speed to you. Smile and say
: hello to PAN AM when you confront them. Take
: Care folks---

Hello CPTN or former pilot Willie Singh thanks for this info. Back many years ago i was a business man dealing with the plastic bag industrie in the US in the stste of AL ABAMA and in NEW YORK city. I flew many 707 727 flight around the USA and some long haul 747-212B 741 Clipper Flight to HKG SYD AKL NAN HNL LAX the list goes on. I was flying from LAX/DFW/JFK on the morning of the collapse. It was so shocking to here what happen when we arrived at JFK I lost my Baggage which was never recovered lucky it was insured. I tried my best for week with these liqidators to search and fin my baggage. Yet they didn't want to pay out compensation on lost item's. I also had $2,000 US dollars of air travel with PAN AM to fly to HKG the next morning it was however honoured by Delta Airlines
and UAL yet the planes were still in PAN AM decal's only with the blue pin stripe down the passenger windows and the UAL decal's replaced the big blue ball and wording of PAN AM. I flew on a 747sp21 jet which was N539PA Clipper Liberty Bell I think?? But it's pointless contacting the liquidators now they just give you the run about and crap to go with it. Thanks
