I'm trying to research the design and use of plastic dishes on airlines. I have some material that indicates that Pan Am was a leader in using these lightweight dishes on the Clippers in the late 1930s.
Anyone have any information on this (or can point me where to look?)
Also any other information on Pan Am's cabin service plastic from any period.
I have a set of the sleek charcoal and white dishes introduced in 1964. Still trying to find out who designed that.
All the best,
Sunny
