Hello,Matt. Is there a site on the net where I can find that photo? The one I mentioned doesn't have a 707 in it.Just the KLM tail and the Clipper Victor, with passengers boarding.I wonder what the picture you've seen looks like. Can you see the livery?I can't imagine it's a Tenerife photo, though.Let me know.

: Sorry,Matt.I could be mistaken on the
: photograph.I believe it might've been shot
: by someone else at the Tenerife airport. What
: I heard about the photographer being a KLM
: passenger, and the film later recovered from
: the wreckage could be false.

: Hello,Matt. Are you asking if N739PA was at
: the
: Tenerife airport? You're question is not
: quite clear, but the answer is no.There were
: only two 747s there on that dreadfull
: afternoon:Clipper Victor,and,the KLM
: plane,PH-BUF,named Rijn.If you're asking
: about the photo taken of the Clipper
: Victor,in which the KLM tail can be seen
: reading "The Flying
: Dutchman",yes,it is authentic.I believe
: it was photographed by one of the KLM
: passengers,just before the accident.I hope I
: was of some help.Thank you.

: Hello everyone maybe some one out there can
: explain to me about this dreadful day in
: 1977 when two jumbo's collided on the runway
: in thick fog namely KLM/PAN AM while i was
: exploring this info and looking at the
: seen's and comments of many witnesses and
: family victims. I have found a rare photo of
: the airport that time of other aircraft
: parked at the gates. Some how which I need
: authentic verification on how true this
: image is. Before N736PA CLIPPER VICTOR was
: to depart or pushed back there is an image
: or another PAN AM 747 sitting next to
: it.This clipper is N739PA CLIPPER MAID OF
: THE SEA'S can some verify that this is true
: and correct on that particular day these two
: 741's were there. I thought it was KLM'S 741
: AND A 707B there. I have tried the PAN AM
: data and google search to the where abouts
: N739PA was that day can any one give light
: or a PAN AM pilot tell me. Thank you

: ;Frank who's is the 707 in the photo. It
: looks like a PAN AMERICAN jet beside Clipper
: Victor N736PA. Willie Singh emailed to me
: saying THE MAID OF THE SEA'S was a signed
: that day on the trans Tasman service some
: where in the Pacific region LAX/HNL/AKL/SYD
: which i have know idea what these codes mean
: as I not much knowing the aviation industry
: and there codes. But he did mention N736PA
: used to be called Clipper Young America when
: this 741 first entered service. My apologies
: and mistake about a 741 next to N736PA it's
: a Boeing 707. Get back to me Frank. Thank
: you

:Hi Matt and frank. I have being trying to
: locate a certain file and log from that
: afternoon
: at tenerife back in 1977 of the events that
: had taken place on the ground. Clipper Maid
: N739PA 741-121 jet was asigned to the
: pacific air routes at that particular month
: also this was the only PAN AMERICAN jet on
: the ground at tenerife when these to giants
: collided together out on the runway. I do
: recall this as this was put over our screens
: while in flight from LDN-JFK stating Victor
: Yankee N736PA lost at tenerife from a
: collision of a KLM jumbo airport/airfeild
: closed any flight arrivals diverted. I will
: try to hunt this log out for you
: Matt. Yes frank I agree with you a bit
: confusing from Matt being a journalist. Take
: care----WS---
