: Hello,Lorenzo.If it's a "secret
: deal",then how did you get the
: information?as far as the story you
: told,well,I don't believe a word of it.Why
: would a well known New Zealand carrier, which
: is likely well trusted by a steady stream of
: customers over the years, want to change it's
: name to the name of a carrier, which was
: plagued with bad luck,and
: mismanagement, causing it to go bankrupt many
: years ago??Don't get me wrong,I would love
: to see the Clippers, and blue ball fly the
: skies again, but if your story is true, then
: it's likely bye bye to another big
: airline...furthermore,the name Pan Am,as in
: Pan American, wouldn't really fit an airline
: based in New Zealand, now would
: it??Greetings.

: Hello many viewrs it has being announced
: today
: that the Kiwi carrier namely AIR NEW ZEALAND
: is set to buy out the namming rights of the
: PAN AM logo and carry it on all there
: aircraft. Boston Marine airways has made a
: sercret deal with Air NZ to buy the logo
: originally the Queen of the skies most of
: the AIR NZ fleet will have the clipper names
: added to the aircraft. A few panit jobs to
: domestic and international jets will be
: repainted as the original PAN AM livery
: colours of 1990's bearing the name bold
: letters on the aircraft PAN AM NZ OR PAN AM
: New Zealand with the blue ball on the tail.
: Pretty neat. I will keep you up todate with
: more info as it comes to hand. It's not on
: the AIR NZ site just yet it will appear
: soon. Thank you

"Hi Frank I don't know what cloud your on but if you read my comments properley and look before you leap. I said Air NZ are buying the namming rights of the PAN AM name sake "NOT CHANGING THE KIWI CARRIER'S NAME AT ALL" It;s up to the airline or anyone in this world to buy whatever they like. I am also appaulled at the way you make your views or opinions on such a great historical airline that broke records and was the first airliner to travel the globe and to add the first to introduce the jet age era of the Boeing 707's 747's or maybe i can say like other PAN AM employee's who read your disgruntlled comments which you have offended, that PAN AMERICAN WORLD AIRWAYS or PAN AM was around way before you were created in this world we all live in. Secondly "FRANK" without disrespect to all you shouldn't accuse people of lying until you can prove that. It sounds like to me your one of the few people who are known by other messages or a hoax person who has visited this site and caused the suspension of the board before in a different name. We aren't stuiped people "Frank". Thirdly when i refer to repainting aircraft decals which AIR NZ has done in the past with there fleet of 747-219's 767'219 jets completely painted them white with blue decals of other airliners they have leased there aircraft to.
PAST HISTORY KIWI TE OR NZ JETS LEASED
ZK-NZY 747-219 REPAINED 1993-1996 AIR PACIFIC
ZK-NZZ 747-219 REPAINTED AIRTOURS LEASED
ZK-NZV 747-219 REPAINTED WHITE TOWER AIR 1998
ZK-NZX 747-219 REPAINTED ANSETT AUSTRALIA 1997
ZK-NZW 747-219 COKMPLETE WHITE TOWER AIR 1996
ZK-NAP 737-219 REPAINTED WHITE ANSETT NZ 1992
ZK-NAR 737-219 REPAINTED QANTAS NZ WHITE BLUE KANGAROO ON TAIL 1999
ZK-NBW 744-219 FULL WHITE NORTHWEST LEASED 2001
USED ON HKG/LAX/HKG EX ALL BLACK JET COLOUR SCHEME.
ZK-NBS 744-219 LEASED QANTAS NZ 2007 FULL WHITE REPAINTED BLUE WORDING. "RETIRED"
The list goes on Frank so if AIR NZ will repaint some domestic jets to the PAN AM i am sure the world and everyone who worked for the Queen of the skies knows and would be proud that she lives again thanks to a well maintaind record serviced airline. I wouldn't down PAN AM at least they have never had there records broken by other airliners to date flying no stop around the world in record time with 747-121 or 747sp jets or the 707's Thank you "Frank for offending this PAN AM site and the people who worked for her and built her and those wonderful PANAMAIRS out there who have flown her and have the memories of her.
Lorenzo
