Pan Am to Bermuda

Can anyone CONFIRM that Sikorsky S-40 NC-81V "Caribbean Clipper" made a test flight to Bermuda from the USA in late 1936 or early 1937? A contact in Bermuda says it did but I can find no other evidence.
