: Janet---Could you tell us more about that
: Guam-South Africa trip?---Thanks--KB
Hi Ken-I can't remember much more except it was in the fall of 1977. A businessman from Guam and I were the only people from the Pacific to be invited on the flight. Others were travel agents, writers, etc. from the States. I flew to San Francisco to get visas for Brazil and South Africa, then to New York, then to Rio. We stayed in Rio a few days, then flew the first flight (so I thought) between Rio and Johannesburg. We spent one night in J-burg, then flew to Cape Town and back to Rio. Pan Am invited me because I was a reporter and feature writer on Guam. Wish I could tell you more except I enjoyed the entire trip!
