: Hi everyone can some one tell me why the two
: remaining EX PAN AM jumbo's now left
: derelect for many years in storage N740PA,
: N755PA which tower air leased for PAN AM
: even after the collapse. Does anyone know
: what will become of there airframes or hulk
: which isn't a nice way to put our former PAA
: ladie's. They served well with PAN AM for
: many years in all sort of conditions like
: other PAA aircraft did. They look so run
: down poor things. I remember my last flight
: on N755PA Clipper Sovergin of the seas from
: HKG/LAX beautiful flight back in 1988 she
: preformed well winging her way high up in
: the icy skies over the pacific crusing
: queitly. When we landed in LAX exellent
: landing very smooth and the roar of her jet
: thrust engines in reverse slowing the
: gleaming ladie to taxi speed and up to the
: gate along side her sister ship departing
: for JFK/MIA N724PA a later 747-200B jet and
: a few DC10'S & PAA 747 aircraft parked
: up unloading from long haul flights having a
: rest. I wish we could see that image again
: with the Queen of the skies. Our PAN AM
: Thank you
:
: Best Wishes to all

Hello My name is Eric Irizarry I used to work for Pan Am in the late 80's. N740Pa was a great aircraft I have a framed picture of it in air at my house.
