PAN AM'S LAST DAY OF SERVICE FLIGHTS

Can anyone help me out to exact what day time or date and the year PAN AM ceased operations around America and does any one know what the last flight in to LAX or Out Bound was. This also includes any PAN AM aircraft flights already flying when this announcement was made. Thank you.
