Can anyone update me to why the Baharan Goverment jet the EX PAN AM 747sp21 jet parked at the ramp in phenox has being grounded and cannot leave this airport. Also the new buyer for this jet which info has now being released Jetstar have purchased this jet for International flights?? I am at odds to how Qantas have being involved in this when they had two of there own 747sp jets in service back in 2000. I know Qantas lease there dirty old 767-300 and ex Ansett Australia A320 airbus jets to them but why didn't they just store there 747sp jets and bring them back when required. They could have being fully refurbished instaed of being chopped up. So some one please update what is happeneniong with VP-BAT former N540PA. Thank you
