Dear Frank,
First of all...my name is not "Kennie"...it is actually Kendall, but most people call me Ken. Second, the aircraft Clipper Defender N738PA which had a landing accident at Karachi on 4 August 1983, was written off. So it could not have been involved in the hijacking at Karachi on 5 September 1986. And third, I have checked at least five databases of airline crashes & incidents involving fatalities, and they all say that the aircraft involved in the hijacking was Clipper Empress of the Seas N656PA. These databases are all based on Pan Am company records, so they must be correct.
