Can anyone help me out with this jet I noticed its being put on the ramp at Marina Pinal Park where she and her other great sister aircraft where stored or scrapped. She now has being or had her TOWER AIR decals removed and painted over white. But the big blue ball which PAN AM had had being painted on one side of the tail with the little american flag at the top of the tail fin. A blue strip has also being painted down one side of the airframe. Is some one buying her or restoring her to her original service colours or is some business person out there trying to restart our Queen of the skies again??.
Just recently have seen her parked at the ramp then moved back to her location and being maintanced. Can some one give me the info on her past service with PAN AM according to the FAA registry she is not active at this point or maybe the big girl will be registered soon. Thank you
