You are absolutely correct with your comments. It is unfortunate that the DC10 resulted in such a bad reputation even though it was a good jet. We were farmed out many times to repair the DC10 for another airline and this jet had little problems unlike the Airbus jets.
Unfortunately N82NA, Clipper Aurora is scrapped at Marana-Pinal Airpark Airport, Marana, Arizona. I have an aircraft report with photos which I can post here on the message board. Let me know if you want to see it and I'll post it.
