Hi Ken,
I will certainly think about what you said.
I am so determined to be in the aviation field, and I know it's a lot of HARD work.
But I should be okay

: Hey, Mike---I've been thinking about your
: situation---Why don't you let the family
: know that you're interested in a career in
: the aviation field---and then let them know
: that whoever contributes to your first
: license (we call it a 'Private') will be in
: line for discount tickets---That gets most
: peoples attention---Best of luck and I'll
: have more tips for you as you progress---KB

: Hey guys,
:
:
: just to let you know that I am currently
: searching fotr jobs at heathrow, anything
: from cleaning to duty free, or customer
: assistance.
:
: I should think I would enjoy it as I love
: Heathrow, just being there would feel good.
:
: Thanks Ken for the advice. I hope I do enter
: the world of aviation in the future

: Any association you have with the flying
: industry will be helpful and contribute to
: the knowledge you'll need to fly
: yourself--Hands-on with smaller airplanes
: will do more for you than passenger
: service,etc---Don't be afraid to check oil
: and add gas---It will all contribute to your
: being a better pilot---Speaking of
: Heathrow--On the crew bus once a fella
: pointed out a statue of two aviators, Alcock
: and Brown---and said it was a tribute to our
: famous Jessy Jackson---Who'd have guessed
: it?---Best to ya---KB

: Yeh I'm up for that,
:
: I make regular trips to Heathrow to plane
: spot, and have thought about getting a job
: as a help assistance for BAA or something. I
: love Heathrow, LOVE it, and know it alot. I
: asked a guy there , who told me that as a
: help assistance, I would be getting £10 an
: hour, which is great , I just hope I can get
: it. I have plenty of customer service
: experience, as I have been in Starbucks
: Coffee for 7 years, and as you can imagine,
: I want out of there, into aviation, airport,
: etc. What do you think?

: Michael---Iten One---I was about 27 when I
: started to learn to fly--Wish I'd started at
: 2 but that's the breaks---Item two---You'll
: be hard pressed to find 'Cheap' flying
: lessons---If you're able to survive for a
: while, get yourself a job at an airport or
: with what we call a "Fixed Base
: Operation". You'll be submurged in the
: flying game and you'll eat, sleep and breathe
: it---It works unless the guy decides to get
: married---Be careful--KB

: Hey guys,
:
:
: thnaks for the response, I will look at the
: page. I was only thinkjng I was a bit old,
: as when I wanted, a few years ago, to learn
: to play guitar, people kept saying, you only
: pick it up if you start when your like
: 10 years old, etc. I did in fact start
: guitar lessons, and picked up a few songs,
: but have since given it up a bit as it HURTS
: your fingers.
:
: Second question, you said it's pricey. Is
: there any how I can get somewhere cheaper,
: or find another way? I will look at your
: university

: Hi Michael,
:
: You are not to old at all. It really depends
: on what type of aircraft you want to fly. If
: you would like more information, give my
: university a visit. There web site is

: I know this has nothing to do with Pan am
: itself, but I just want to ask an
: experienced pilot a question.
:
: I am 25 years old, and want to maybe learn
: how to be a pilot in a proper simulator, or
: maybe even slowly the real thing. I don't
: care how long it takes. Am I too old? Is it
: too late for me? And how hard is it?
