Any association you have with the flying industry will be helpful and contribute to the knowledge you'll need to fly yourself--Hands-on with smaller airplanes will do more for you than passenger service,etc---Don't be afraid to check oil and add gas---It will all contribute to your being a better pilot---Speaking of Heathrow--On the crew bus once a fella pointed out a statue of two aviators, Alcock and Brown---and said it was a tribute to our famous Jessy Jackson---Who'd have guessed it?---Best to ya---KB
