Flying a plane

I know this has nothing to do with Pan am itself, but I just want to ask an experienced pilot a question.

I am 25 years old, and want to maybe learn how to be a pilot in a proper simulator, or maybe even slowly the real thing. I don't care how long it takes. Am I too old? Is it too late for me? And how hard is it?
